For Christmas this year our family got tickets to see Disney on Ice! We also invited Jared's parents and Grandma Cooley to go with us.
Unfortunately Grandma Cooley wasn't feeling very well last weekend so we ended up taking Cassidy's bestest friend Lilly! The girls have been excited for days. They even wore their princess dresses and as we were driving through downtown Phoenix they really thought they were on their way to Disneyland....if only it was that close. They thought they even saw the Princess Castle...aka an old Church house downtown with not quite the glitter and glam of the real Disney Castle...but who am I to crush their dreams. I let them believe all they wanted especially in hopes that this show would suffice for a trip to the real Disneyland anytime soon. The show did not dissapoint. We actually had really good seats....for a great deal, might I add! Where else can you see almost all the Disney characters that close in over an hour!
The show was so great! The girls were wide eyed and smiling the entire time. The show was called "Let's Celebrate!" The Disney characters celebrated almost all the holidays, including birthdays, Halloween and the not so politically correct Christmas celebration.

I was amazed that these talented people could ice-skate and do triple axles in the air with those big costumes on!
Cinderella was the favorite of the girls.
They are still in love with all the Disney Princess.
We sure enjoyed ourselves and loved having Papa and Abu with us. They were even so kind to treat us to a yummy lunch at Sweet Tomato's afterwards. We will definitely be doing that show again! It's not just for kids, even the kids at heart!
