ZooLights

Last night we decided to go to the Phoenix Zoo and see the Zoolights! Jared got some buy one get one free passes at work that were only valid for that day. We picked Jared up from work.....yes 3 months of me being the Chaueffer again....and got home to get the girls all bundled up. It was actually freezing cold yesterday. It's beginning to look like Christmas down here in the desert....finally! We stopped off and grabbed some chili for dinner and ate it in line to warm us up. The girls were absolutley fascinated with all the Christmas Lights this year. It's been so fun to drive down the street and hear the girl's squeal when they see them on all the houses.Even McKenzie thought they were so fun to look at! Cassidy's favorite lights were the elephants and all the monkeys! There were even monkeys swinging in the tree's! I enjoyed the tree light show choreographed to Manheim Steamroller! We stopped by the newest exhibit at the Phoenix Zoo- The Kommodo Dragons- scary! We even spotted Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! Didn't think I'd find the Pillsbury Dough boy at the zoo....whoo hew!We had to stop and get some churros for Jared and the girls. He said they weren't nearly as good as Disneyland's but always a favorite!Jared took Cassidy on the Carousel ride and McKenzie hopped on the end for a picture!We came home and all of us snuggled in our bed and the girls and I crashed before we could make hot chocolate and watch a movie. Thanks Dad for taking us girls out to see Zoolights! We had such a fun time!
