Presenting Luke 2

Last Sunday we had a family dinner at Jared's parents house. We ate a yummy meal and then did our traditional Nativity play. It's been really fun these last two years to dress up in the costumes his Mom received for Christmas one year. Here's a little behind the scene footage....Back stage in the dressing rooms (aka Mama's bedroom), we all decide what part we are going to be this year.I tried to get McKenzie to be the cow but she refused therefore I forced myself into the tiny costume. By default she became the lost sheep. Standing by ready for the big entrance.....Graham really wanted to be Mary this year but we finally convinced him to be a really cool Wiseman with his Mom, Marcy and little brother Dax.Quinn was excited to be a Shepherd and we finally coaxed Cassidy into being the Camel. Samuel (Jared), delivers the message upon the wall...(aka the fireplace).Carson was really excited to shoot Samuel this year with his bow and arrow. He practices year round for this event! Samuel was filled with the power of God and used his lightening fast speed to catch the arrows before they hit him! 5 years later.....The Angel (Aunt Stephanie) brings Mary (Aubrey), the news of her very important calling.....A very pregnant Mary makes her entrance into the city of Bethlehem on her donkey (Uncle Tyler). At one point their very sturdy donkey carried both Joseph and Mary! Joseph and Mary admiring the baby Jesus while singing "Away In a Manger." Yes even Aubrey and Carson used their incredible acting skills to portray their love for eachother!The shepherds in awe as the angel appears and brings them the news! (Brad, Lance, Nelson and Abu).Heavenly Hosts singing Praises! What a show! Even Uncle Lance was exhausted after his 2nd Debut in Luke 2, playing one of the Shepherds! We sure had a lot of fun and enjoyed a yummy Christmas dinner! Thanks Papa and Abu!
