Here we come a Caroling!!

It was the annual Phelps Family Family Home Evening Christmas Party on Monday. Jared's Family is usually in charge each year. I went to Costco that day to pick up 4 Lasagna's to cook for the big event and there was two left.....the two my Mother in law, minutes earlier put back, in a major hurry, not wanting to stand in the horrendous line when she really needed to get 8 more somewhere else! We enjoyed the yummy Lasagna dinner and listened the the fun entertainment provided by the various families. Everyone looks forward to the fun family entertainment put on by the grandkids.Santa Claus even made it to the big even this year. Cassidy has sure been lucky to see Santa Claus atleast 3 or 4 times this Christmas Season! After dinner we all bundle up and jump on the caroling train. Jared's Dad borrows this caroling train from the Toone's each year and it is so fun to carol around the same neighborhood each year. They know that usually the 3 Monday in December to expect the Phelps Family Caroling Caravan to come around. Everyone comes outside to listen to the beautiful singing!We were excited to make it onto the caroling train this year, but ended up abandoning the wagon early.McKenzie jumped the bus and Cassidy had a melt down before we got out of the parking lot. We headed back to the church and enjoyed the treats anyway!We did get first dibs on the Donuts and Hot Chocolate though. Maybe next year! This is always one of my most favorite parties of the year!
