Traditionally we wake up early Christmas Day to open presents. Papa and Abu make their rounds to each of the grandkids houses to see the goods and videotape for the parents. Shortly after we pack up and head to their home for an amazing brunch including Kringles. This year Christmas happened to fall on a Sunday. We opened our family gifts then rushed to get ready for Church. Since our ward was meeting at 12, we decided to revisit the old Page Ward and attend with Tyler & Stephanie for Sacrament meeting. After we headed to Papa and Abu's for an amazing Christmas Dinner! As always Abu went all out. We are so glad all Jared's siblings were able to come, even if it was for only a few minutes with Nelson's family.
Only in Arizona can you eat Christmas Lunch outside. The weather was perfect. I especially love that all the oranges are in season and ready to pick off the trees. We talked the kids into eating all their dinner before opening and exchanging our Christmas gifts to each other.
We had Lance & Mishaun this year! The girls were so excited to get Lance a Marine Lego set and Tank Christmas Tree ornament as part of their gift.
This year Abu asked for Kitchen towels and Tupperware......yep for real! That's all she wanted!
Papa not sure what the present was! All the sibling went in on a new radio for his truck so he can continue listening to his books on tape as he drives around spraying.
It is always fun to have Grandma Cooley there. This year Jared's cousin Scot came to join the fun while his parents are serving a mission in Florida.
Loved when Papa opened this gift. Both him and Abu bought the exact same electric razor. Must have been a smokin deal at Costco!
