Marriott Date Night

For Christmas every year, Grandma Cooley gives each of her grandchildren a voucher for a 1 night stay at the Marriott in Old Towne Scottsdale.

 This December Jareds parents eagerly watched the kids overnight so Jared & I could spend an entire day and night without children. We dropped them off Saturday night and spent a couple hours Christmas shopping through the most random stores. We left without a single thing! Jared really needed a haircut so we stopped at Great Clips and I enjoyed eating peppermint frozen yogurt and reading a magazine while someone else trimmed his hair!

 We headed out to the dollar movies and saw The Help!  Yes this was my second time seeing it and I still cried throughout the entire movie.  Jared really enjoyed it too!  We got out of the movie late so we decided to eat at the Cheesecake Factory next door.  Jareds all time favorite is their Avacodo Egg Rolls!  We were stuffed and it was late so we decided to pass on the Cheesecake and head to the hotel.  We got to sleep in and picked up the kids late Sunday morning.....since we have 1:00 church!  

 Aubu and Papa spoiled the kids!  They made gingerbread houses, ate pizza and actually went to sleep at 8:30!

 Such a fun and much needed date night with Jared and the kids had a blast sleeping over at Papa & Aubu's house!
