Happy Birthday McKenzie!

McKenzie turned 3 on Friday last week! We did a lot of this all weekend long.....eating!  Took the kids to Joe's Farmhouse for a yummy French Toast and scrambled egg breakfast.  Picked up her birthday box of Krispy Kreme donuts after the gym.
Abu came that afternoon and took McKenzie for a couple hours out to lunch and picked out a present.  She came back with a bag full of paints!  That's all she wanted for her birthday was PAINTS.  Thank you Abu for getting the washable ones.  It is now Tuesday and her paint stock is about half full.  She is definitely our little artist.  Her favorite activities include painting, coloring, cutting with scissors, playdough, games/cards, playing the piano, singing, listening to her Nursery Rhyme CD's and playing with her baby dolls.

We spent Friday night at the Arizona Grande with just the girls.  Jareds parent took Merrick overnight so we were able to enjoy the waterpark for 2 days.  The girls absolutely loved the wave pool and dance party at night.  We went out to eat at Red Robins for her birthday dinner.  By Saturday afternoon McKenzie was falling asleep in the lazy river and was asking to go home.  She was purely exhausted from all the celebration. 

I can't believe how fast McKenzie has grown up!  She has matured so fast for her age.  She could pass as a 4 or 5 year old with her height. When I am out running errands with the girls I am always asked if Cassidy and McKenzie are twins.  McKenzie is our little chatterbox. She is very observant of her surroundings and loves to ask lots of questions.  She is my best helper and loves to be right by my side in the kitchen.  She now gives Cassidy a run for her money! We just love our Kenzie!  She brings a smile to our face each morning.
