Goodbye Stanford Avenue....we will miss our cute little home that all 3 kids were born in. We had been thinking about moving for awhile. We have dreamed about building a new home someday and especially love Morrison Ranch. We figured the only way we would be able to move was to rent out our current home. We posted a rental ad on craigslist one weekend and the next day, 7 people walked through. We found this cute LDS family with young kids who were a perfect fit! After that the ball started rolling... We walked through the model homes at Richmond American in Morrison Ranch for the 3rd or 10th time and decided we loved the floorplan. We picked a lot, switched lots, almost backed out a few times and then a week after we moved we bought the quick move in home down the street from our original lot, which is exactly what we were going to build but ended up getting it for almost 20K less. Sound confusing....yes it has been a long process and we have killed quite a few trees with all of the paperwork and order changes. Our indecisiveness turned in our favor with locking in an amazing rate and getting the home we wanted for cheaper and being able to move in 3 months earlier. We are currently house renting for the next 2 months from Jared's little sister who lives about 2 miles away. We were able to store all our furniture in their huge RV garage. Our brother in law Lance is in Afghanistan until October and Jared's little sister Mishaun will be a wakeboard instructor in New Hampshire at a camp for the summer. Pretty much we are house sitting and the girls absolutely love Russ the dog. This might be the closest thing they will ever get to having a pet. We really couldn't be more blessed right now. Everything has fallen into place at the perfect time. Yes it has been stressful moving the week after Jared started his new job and with 3 kids tagging along but we can see the Lords hand through this whole process and everything has worked out in our favor. Thank you to wonderful family and friends who have helped us move and watch our kids! We are sad to leave another good ward but look forward to staying in the stake. We are set to move in mid August. In the mean time summer plans are going to be busy with swim lessons, family reunions, summer movies, quick weekend vacations to Cali, St. George and the best....no schedules!
This was our original lot.....Had fun picking all the upgrades at the Home Gallery
Lucked out getting this Quick in Move in for a lot less and it included the 3rd car garage! We still were able to pick all the inside stuff but now we will be in sooner!
Already met the cute couple who bought the house just left to us. We are excited to be in a neighborhood with lots of kids and young families!
