Halloween Festivities!

Our Halloween Festivities continued on...... Friday the girls and I dropped in to see Dad at work. Every year all the employees carve a pumpkin and have a contest judged by the customers. Unfortunatley Dad thought softball was more important and didn't finish his pumpkin in time....ok really he had 2 finals and a presentation that week also. The girls get to go trick-or-treating around the desks. We had a costume switcheroo. McKenzie became Wonderwoman...her original costume. Cassidy was getting sick of the way too tight headband and leggings, so we made her a princess from a costume I bought at Target last year on Clearance hoping it would fit eventually! Both girls were happy the rest of the weekend and so was Mom! Dad just loves showing off his two cute little girls!Later that evening the Chapman's had their Annual Halloween Party. I finally talked Jared into wearing his way too tight Transformer costume! We were so glad we made it to the party this year....for atleast half. Cassidy had another Halloween Sleepover at her Papa's that same night too. We love getting together with all our old friends from the Singles Ward Days. These are just a few of the byproducts produced from marriages matched in the Mesa 70th Ward. BFF's once again reunited after a long 2 week break. Cassidy sure loves her friend Lilly! Justin and Robin make the cutest couple....Popeye and Olive Oyl!This year they got to add on their little Sweet Pea, Shelby! Thanks for such a fun night Chapman's!We left the Chapman Party early to take Cassidy over to Papa and Abu's house for their Halloween campout. When we got there we roasted some hot dogs and smores. Papa even put up the Bounce House to play in for awhile. Since it was so cold that night the kids ended up camping out in the front room. Papa said Cassidy was the last one to fall asleep and the last one to wake up in the morning! She sure had a lot of fun camping out with her cousins!Jared, McKenzie and I went home and crashed after our fun filled day. I must have been pretty tired because I woke up at 1:30 am with my black whiskers still painted on, too tired to get ready for bed! On Halloween night we had a lot of fun taking the girls around to Durango II and Orangewood neighborhoods. We got to trick or treat with the cute Rust girls and see some old Durango Ward friends! Our tuckered out little Princess...too much fun for just one little 3 year old girl to handle!
