This past Columbus Day weekend we headed up to the Cooley Cabin in Williams with our friends the Chapmans and Jared's Mom. It was freeeeeeezing!!! The ice we threw out of the cooler Saturday morning was still in the same spot when we left Monday night. I guess it only got down to 9 degrees one night while we were there.
Thank goodness we had Justin and Jared chopping wood to keep the fire going all day long. The girls and I kinda hunkered in for the weekend. I think McKenzie went into hibernation mode the entire trip because she was bundled and held all weekend long!
We did a little shooting, rode the horses, golf carts, rented a movie, drank hot chocolate, and ate ice-cream (Williams tradition, even if it was freezing! 
Justin, Robin and Cassidy became blood brothers for life this weekend. Somehow they both cut themselves shooting and Sunday afternoon Cassidy officially became a patient at the Williams Clinic after splitting her chin open on the fireplace. She was a trooper and they just super glued it together! 
We had such a fun weekend with the Chapmans! Thanks for coming up with us!!!
Next week Papa goes up to bring the horses home and close up the cabin until next Memorial Day! Can't wait until next year when we can hopefully get up there a little more.
